Light Commercial Inspections now available

Elmhurst, IL, July 15, 2007: Larry Coha, owner of Cottage Hill Inspections, Inc., a local firm which conducts pre- purchase home inspections, has recently announced the Company is now in position to provide light commercial inspections for its clients.

"The term 'light commercial' is used to describe commercial properties containing under 20,000 square feet, with or without living quarters attached, such as apartments. It can also include a multi- unit building containing 5 or more apartments ," explained Coha.

Such buildings often include a small company or doctor's office and may have an adjacent apartment above or included. These types of structures often contain many of the same systems and components found in a residential building.

"We inspect these buildings to ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) Standards, which are different from various Standards of Practice used in the home inspection industry. So for our clients planning to purchase a storefront with one or two apartments attached, this is a perfect solution to their professional inspection needs, " continued Coha.
